The Indians swept Tamaqua, while the Wrecker teams downed MMI.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Lehighton-Tamaqua
Lehighton jumped out to a huge lead and rolled to a 67-22 non-league victory over host Tamaqua.
Cole Dietz scored 12 of his game-high 22 points in the first half as the Indians grabbed a 24-point advantage at the break.
Aiden Solt added 12 points — all on three-pointers — and Blake Roberts contributed 11 to the Lehighton cause.
Jakin Tamagini’s five points led the Raiders.

Weatherly clinched a district playoff berth with a 72-46 non-conference victory over MMI Prep.
Five different Wreckers reached double-figure scoring to aid the win.
Niko Saldukas and Corbin Wagner tied for game-high honors as both tallied 16 points. Ian McKeegan added 14, while Dominik Kokinda finished with 11 and Brandon Davis chipped in with 10.
MMI received a team-high 14 points from Ben Gombida.

Leah Uyvari scored a game-high 20 points to lead Lehighton to a 51-40 non-league victory over Tamaqua.
The Indians, who also received nine points from Brielle Parliman, took control of the game with a 16-point third quarter after they held a 25-21 halftime lead.
Lauren Ligenza paced Tamaqua with a double-double, scoring 17 points and collecting 10 rebounds. Leah Blackalso pulled down 10 boards.
