Fire companies from Mahoning Valley and Lehighton were dispatched to a working dwelling fire Tuesday afternoon in Mahoning township. The call came in shortly after noon for a fire at 280 Fritz Drive. When firefighters arrived on scene they found smoke showing from the attic area of the dwelling. The fire was located and extinguished without injury. Fire personnel were on scene for about two hours.
