Gould to serve as chairman in Chestnuthill Township

Chestnuthill Township held its 2026 reorganization meeting Monday, with Chuck Gould reelected as chairman of the board of supervisors. Vice chairman is new supervisor Jeffrey Weiss.
One-year term reappointments are David Albright as township manager and Cathy Martinelli as secretary/treasurer.
Roadmaster is David Scheller until Feb. 28 when assistant Michael Manfre Jr. will step up.
Steve Baade will start as assistant on March 1.
The township solicitor is Cramer, Swetz, McManus, Jordan & Saylor.
Sewage enforcement officer is Hanover Engineering, with Michelle Arner as alternate.
Township tngineer is Chris McDermott from Reilly Associates. Alternate is Linder Engineering.
Other appointments are: Planning & Zoning Director/Alternate Building Code Official Matt Neeb, with Karen Hayes as assistant.
Zoning Hearing Board attorney is Joseph P. McDonald, with alternate Tom Nanovic
Berkheimer is the earned income tax collector.
Code enforcement officers are Robert Malinski, Matt Neeb, Dave Scheller, William Edinger Jr., Mike Manfre Sr., Mike Manfre Jr., Karen Hayes, Steve Baade, Nick Schoch and Eric Hoffman.
The following positions were confirmed:
• Emergency Management coordinator, Eric Hoffman
• Fire chief, William Edinger Jr.
• Fire marshal, Don Zipp.
• Historical Society liaison, Jeff Weiss.
• Zoning Hearing Board for five-year terms: Julie Weiss and JT Burrus.
• Planning Commission for four-year terms: Robert Geyer and Melanie Zipp.
Mileage reimbursement was set at 72.5 cents per mile.
