Guy Seifert was re-appointed as Chair of Towamensing Township Board of Supervisors during the January Reorganization meeting. Vice Chairman will remain John Kleintop.

The following appointments were made:

• Treasurer: John Kleintop

• Solicitor: Thomas Nanovic, Nanovic Law Offices

• Primary Zoning Board and Building Code Inspector: Jim Melber

• Alternate Zoning/Building Code Board: Cody Craig

• Engineer: Greg Haas

• Engineering Firm: Keystone Consulting Engineers

• SEO: Ian Farrell (Creekside Consultants, LLC), primary; Steve Gitch, alternate

• Emergency Management Coordinator: Joe Szwajkowski, primary; assistant, Tom Newman

• Appointed members of the Historical Commission are: Gary Anthony, Donald Bonett, Jack Branch, Sandy Branch, Barry George, Tom Newman, Patricia Kuehner

• Tanya Frey and Tom Newman were appointed as township auditors at the End of Year Meeting held on Dec. 30, 2025.

• Karl Pielmeier, Robert O’Donnell, George Karas were reappointed to the zoning hearing board, William Acierno (alternate)

• Robert Ziegenfus, Dwight Eisenhauer, David Beers, Penny Kleintop, Bruce Miller, Scott Carter were re-appointed to the planning commission.

• Mileage rate was set at 70 cents per mile.
