Carbon County Court

Carbon County Court of Common Pleas, with President Judge Roger N. Nanovic presiding.

The following cases were among those resolved:

Michael Robert Boyle Jr. was sentenced for driving under the influence. He was ordered to serve 72 hours to six months, less one day, in the Carbon County Correctional Facility. Boyle was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine, complete an Alcohol Highway Safety Program and undergo a mental health evaluation.

Steven Paul Brownmiller was sentenced to seven months to three years in state prison for burglary. The court also ordered Brownmiller to pay $780 in restitution to East Penn Sporting Club, and he is banned from the club. Brownmiller was also sentenced to a concurrent nine months to two years in a state correctional institution for evading arrest or detention on foot.

Gavin C. Moser was sentenced to five months to two years less one day in the Carbon County Correctional Facility for risking catastrophe. He was also sentenced on multiple counts of recklessly endangering another person. For each of those counts, Moser received a sentence of one to 12 months, less one day, in the county prison. He received credit for 118 days already served and must undergo a mental health evaluation.

Siobhan T. Carrasso was sentenced to one month to one year in the Carbon County Correctional Facility for resisting arrest. She received 12 months of probation for defiant trespass. In a separate case, Carrasso was sentenced to a concurrent six-month probation term for use or possession of drug paraphernalia. She is required to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. Carrasso was fined $300 on a separate harassment charge.

Dylan Dennis Lavenberg was sentenced to two to 18 months in county prison for criminal trespass involving entering a structure. He was also sentenced to a concurrent 72 hours to six months for driving under the influence. Lavenberg was fined $1,000.

Heather Nicole Wyman was ordered to pay a $150 fine for harassment.

Shayna Lee Werner was ordered to pay a $150 fine for disorderly conduct.

John Bukowski II was placed on probation for six months and fined $300 for driving under the influence.

Joshua Bregenzer was sentenced to 24 days to 12 months in the Carbon County Correctional Facility for resisting arrest. He was also fined $300 for harassment.

Trisha A. George was placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for six months and ordered to pay $583.90 in restitution to Marshall’s in Lehighton.

Michael James Kurlak was placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for one year.
