Zion Lewistown

Pastor Jim Williams will officiate the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Zion Church in Lewistown Valley. Communion will be included during the service.

Sunday school is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Calvary Lewistown

Sunday starts the new year at Calvary Evangelical Church in Lewistown Valley with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and the worship service at 11 a.m. Pastor Deb will bring the morning message, followed by Holy Communion. There will be no Sunday evening service.

The church wishes all a Happy New Year.

St. Peter’s — West Penn

The 9 a.m. Sunday worship service at St. Peter’s Church in West Penn Township will have the Sunday school program and the celebration of Holy Communion.

Tuesday is Epiphany.

On Jan. 8, the Cherub Choir rehearses at 6 p.m. followed by the Senior Choir at 7 p.m.
