Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown), holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Palmerton, holds worship service every Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m.

The church also announced the following events:

Meat pie sale: The church is taking orders for a meat pie sale. Choose from chicken, pork, a chicken and pork mix or beef. Orders are due by Jan. 5. Pickup noon-2 p.m. on Jan. 19. To place an order, call the church office at 610-681-5200, or 610-681-5020, or 610-577-6332.

Gift card bingo: A bingo will be held on Feb. 15 at Aquashicola Fire Co., 270 Little Gap Road, Palmerton. All proceeds will benefit four local charities: Paul’s Valor House, Palmerton Food Pantry, Carbon County Animal Shelter and Palmerton Cat Project. Presale tickets are available until Feb. 10. Bring an item to donate to any of the organizations and receive a special game sheet. Doors open at 11 a.m. Bingo starts at 1 p.m. For tickets, call the office at 610-681-5200.
