The Blue Raiders, coached by Ed Wise, trail by 11 entering the final frame but use a 27-14 period to gain the comeback win. Steve Lukshides scores six of Tamaqua’s points during a 9-0 run to start the fourth that pulls the Raiders within two. Tom Scheitrum hits three jumpers down the stretch, with each one tying the score. Lukshides converts two free throws in the final seconds to give Tamaqua the victory. Lukshides ends with a game-high 20 points and also pulls down 11 rebounds, while Scheitrum finishes with 12 points and Tom Rottet chips in with 11.
