A Nesquehoning homer has been damaged by a Christmas night fire.
A three-alarm fire broke out just after 5 p.m. at 218 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning. Crews from throughout Carbon and Schuylkill County were called to the scene.
Several residents and pets were displaced. Neighbors were able to locate at least one cat. A request has also gone out for diapers.
The Nesquehoning VFW reported it is accepted donations for members Holly Reese and John McCole, who were residents. Monetary donations are being accepted at the VFW Canteen as well as at the Sokol Club.
