The Bombers up their lead with a major at 171, but John Watt moves up to 189 and gets a 33-second pin to put his team ahead by a point. Heavyweight Brian Brooks seal the victory with a fall in 2:54 despite giving up 40 pounds to his opponent. Northwestern, coached by Don Billig, receives a major from Scott Anders earlier in the match. Palmerton’s only pin comes from David Hunsicker at 125.
