Northwestern posted wins in both boys and girls basketball on Wednesday.
Lehighton and Weatherly gained victories in boys action, while the Palmerton and Northern Lehigh girls also triumphed.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Northwestern-Saucon Vy.
Mason Bollinger scored a team-high 16 points to help Northwestern defeat Saucon Valley 54-40 in Colonial League action.
Malachi Coleman and Brady Zimmerman both also finished in double figures for the Tigers, as Coleman tallied 12 and Zimmerman added 11.
The Panthers received 10 points from Williams Hastie, and nine from Noah Weiss.

Lehighton came out of the gate fast and rolled to a 76-43 Colonial League win over Palisades.
The Indians outscored their opponent 26-5 in the first quarter and cruised the rest of the way.
Cole Dietz had a sterling performance for Lehighton, scoring 35 points — including seven three-pointers. Talin Fairchild chipped in with 14 points, including four from beyond the arc, as the winners finished with 13 treys.
Lincoln Cook led the Pirates with 15 points.

Brody Breiner went 10-for-11 from the free throw line, and scored a game-high 27 points to help Panther Valley defeat non-league foe Pen Argyl 55-45 for its first win of the season.
Jarell Thomas finished with a double-double for the Panthers, scoring 11 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. He also blocked six shots.

Five different players reached double-digit scoring for Weatherly as part of an 82-45 non-league victory over Millville.
Corbin Wagner tallied a game-high 19 points for the Wreckers, including nine in the second quarter when the winners outscored their opponent by a 30-7 margin.
Ian McKeegan added 17 points, with 13 of them coming during the pivotal second frame. Niko Saldukas contributed 16 to the Weatherly cause, while Dominick Kokinda and Matt Adler each added 12.
The Quakers were paced by Caleb Krantz, who netted 18 points.

Natalie Conner poured in 20 of her game-high 25 points during the first two periods as the Tigers took a 42-29 halftime lead.
Hannah Gober and Olivia Reinhart each contributed eight points to the winning cause.
Grace Donahue led the way for the Panthers with a team-high 18 points.

Courtney Connell’s 26-point performance helped spark Palmerton to a 62-48 Colonial League win over visiting Catasauqua.
The Bombers used a 20-point first quarter to grab a double-digit lead as Connell keyed the early run with 14 of those points – which included three three-pointers.
Cate Morgan had a strong second half for the Bombers, as she tallied 10 of her 16 points during the final two periods. Emma Rex chipped in with nine.
Hailey Jenkins paced the Roughies with a team-high 18 points.
