West Penn Township supervisors took the following action Tuesday morning:

• Accepted Tom Ackerman’s resignation from the planning commission, effective Dec. 31.

• Accepted Fred Gimbi’s resignation from custodian/groundskeeper at the West Penn Park on Zion Stone Church Road, effective Dec. 31.

• Adopted a resolution of the Schuylkill County Emergency Operations Plan.

• Thanked outgoing Supervisor Glenn Hummel for his years of service to the board.
