William White of Lehighton was elected president of the Carbon County Fire Police at last night’s meeting held in the Phoenix Fire Company hall, Jim Thorpe.

His associates are Kenneth Ocker of Jim Thorpe, vice president; Elwood Evans of Nesquehoning, secretary; Walter Kacicek of Palmerton, treasurer; and Harry Wert of Lehighton, financial secretary.

Julius Fabian of Palmerton, Henry Hontz of Summit Hill, John Gometro of Nesquehoning and Ray Joseph of Jim Thorpe were named lieutenants.

Directors are Fabian, White, Joseph, Kacicek and James Wagner of Lehighton, while Wert and White were elected to represent the association as delegates to the state convention of fire police.
