Tamaqua Borough Council made a number of reappointments to borough committees and authorities.

Among them, council reappointed Richard Hadesty Sr. to the Tamaqua Borough Authority; Dave Ceci to the Tamaqua Water Authority; Richard Hadesty and Daniel Yelito to the Tamaqua CRIZ; Karl Smulligan to the Tamaqua Zoning Hearing Board; and Kelly Gerber to the Tamaqua Board of Health. All appointments are for five-year terms.

Mark Conville was reappointed to a four-year term on the Tamaqua Planning Commission, while William Kennedy and Micheal McKinley were reappointed to three-year terms on the Tamaqua Historical Architecture Review Committee.

Council also accepted the resignation of Dave Clemson from the Zoning Hearing Board effective Dec. 31. Clemson will begin the new year as Tamaqua’s mayor.
