NW junior high girls soccer team goes unbeaten

The Northwestern Lehigh junior high girls soccer team made an unforgettable debut this fall, finishing its inaugural season undefeated with a record of 12 wins, one tie, and zero losses. Composed of more than 20 players in seventh, eighth, and ninth grades, the Lady Tigers outscored opponents across 13 games, including a dominant 12–0 victory that showcased their offensive firepower. They faced off against other junior teams representing Bangor, Southern Lehigh, Blue Mountain, Faith Christian, Palisades, Moravian Academy, Saucon Valley, Wilson Area and Northern Lehigh schools. Under the guidance of coach and Northwestern Lehigh School District teacher Kelly Bleam, the team quickly established themselves as a force on the field and a promising foundation for the district’s soccer program.
