The Lake Harmony Lodge went on the auction block and, while there were some bidders, the price was not right insofar as the auctioneer was concerned.
Louis Traiman, Philadelphia, who conducted the sale, asked $200,000 or better, but his proposal fell on deaf ears.
No one among the 75 seated in the lounge area, where the bidding took place, went so far as to offer half of the asking price, and when no one offered $100,000, Traiman and his aides contacted those who made lower bids in an effort to stimulate them to greater heights, moneywise.
When the bidding resumed the highest offer was $130,000, at which time the auctioneer removed the property from the auction block.
