The junior, who was the Centennial League and District 11 champion, finishes the course at Lehigh University’s Saucon Field in a time of 19:03.5. The Blue Bomber girls, coached by Jan Sosik, place 10th in the team standings and also receive an 81st from Lisa Parsons. Tamaqua’s Lori Lawson crosses in 50th, while teammate Chris Adams finishes in 60th place. The top area boys runner is Palmerton’s Ed Cyr in 96th.
