Ski resorts pay tribute to Norse god of snow
Two of Pennsylvania’s premier snow sports destinations, Camelback Resort and Blue Mountain Resort, will each host their annual Ullr Fest celebrations this month — Camelback on Saturday, and Blue Mountain Resort on Nov. 15 — honoring Ullr, the Norse god of snow, and welcoming the upcoming 2025-2026 winter season.
Recently recognized among the Top 30 Ski Resorts in the U.S. by the 2025 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards — with Blue Mountain Resort ranked No. 10 and Camelback Resort ranked No. 21 — both properties invited visitors to enjoy these free, family-friendly celebrations featuring live music, fall activities, food and drinks, and festive tributes to winter’s return.
