A Lehighton woman was the winner of a trip to Europe during a promotional contest held by the People’s First Bank and Trust Company.

Mrs. William Rhoads, 92 Stedman Avenue, was the grand prize winner of the contest that included all branches of the bank.

Gordon T. Bennett, vice president of the bank, presented Mrs. Rhoads the airline tickets for the trip.

The winner had the choice of a trip to Paris, London or Rome as her prize.

Mrs. Rhoads said she selected Paris because she has a girlfriend there with whom she has been corresponding for six years. She said she and her husband will probably tour other parts of Europe while there.
