The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for Oct. 27-31.

Monday: BBQ Riblet, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Cookie or Ham and Cheese Sandwich.

Tuesday: Potato Leek Soup, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Peas, Melon or Chicken Caesar Salad.

Wednesday: Stuffed Pepper, Mashed Potatoes, Carrots, Yogurt or Tuna Salad Sandwich.

Thursday: Garlic Chicken, Red Potatoes, Green Beans, Peaches or Beef and Cheese Sandwich.

Friday: Sausage and Pasta, Vegetables, Pumpkin Bread or Chicken Ranch Salad.

Movie and Popcorn on Oct. 24 at 10 a.m.

Horseracing on Oct. 27 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Oct. 28 at 10:45 a.m.; Trivia on Oct. 29 at 11 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Oct. 30 at 11 a.m.; Halloween Party on Oct. 31 at 10:30 a.m.

Speaker from Carbon-Monroe-Pike Drug & Alcohol Commission on Nov. 3 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Nov. 4 at 10:45 a.m.; Family Feud on Nov. 5 at 11 a.m.; Sunshine Meeting on Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. followed by Po-Keeno at 11 a.m.; Crafting Ornaments for the Capital Christmas Tree on Nov. 7 at 10 a.m.

Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Panther Valley library

The Panther Valley Public Library is part of Carbon County Area Agency on Aging’s PA MEDI program to help those with annual Medicare open enrollment.

Sessions at the library are: 9 a.m.-noon. Oct. 24 and 29; Nov. 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 and 28; and Dec. 3 and 5.
