A home was damaged during an early-morning house fire Sunday morning in Mount Pocono Borough.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police Chief Chris Wagner said that at 12:04 a.m. officers were dispatched to 1224 Pocono Boulevard for a commercial structure fire.

Officers assisted multiple fire agencies at the scene.

Troopers with the Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal unit were notified and responded to the scene.

The investigation resulted in both the north and south travel lanes of Pocono Boulevard to be shut down for multiple hours in this area.

The incident is currently under active investigation.
