Tamaqua police are investigating an incident where a child was struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Race and Oak streets where a 13-year-old boy on a bicycle was struck by a vehicle.

The victim was being evaluated by members of the Tamaqua ambulance at the scene.
