Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash in Mahoning Township.

The incident occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Route 443 and Seneca Road. According to reports on scene a van traveling east apparently slowed down and was struck in the rear by a following car. The injured were evaluated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance. Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident.
