A hat trick by Katie Fredericks on Tuesday helped Tamaqua close its season with a win over Marian.

Katie Fredericks posted a hat trick to help Tamaqua end its season with a convincing 6-0 victory over Marian.

Fredericks, who also added an assist, scored all three of her goals in the opening half as the Blue Raiders built a 5-0 lead.

Shaylee Gormley finished with a goal and an assist for the winners, who earned their sixth shutout of the season. Evelyn Leinbach and Gia Miller both also tallied for Tamaqua.

For the Fillies, Katie Knocks registered 11 saves.

Weatherly won the first set, but host Executive Education took the next three to earn a non-league victory.

The Wreckers received seven kills and three digs from Abigail Binder, while Abby Weston added 14 assists, three digs and 13 service points.

Kendra Moyer chipped in with five digs and 17 service points, while Kelly Reiner contributed five digs.
