Schuylkill County Court

The following sentences were handed down recently in Schuylkill County Court:

Eswin Oswaldo Alvizures Alvizures, 47, of Hempstead, New York, was charged by Reading, Northern and Blue Mountain Railroad Police with railroad vandalism and fleeing and eluding for an incident on Nov. 3, 2024.

He was sentenced by Judge William Burke to six months of administrative probation on each count, and ordered to pay $893.75 restitution to the railroad, a $500 fine and another $150.

Jamal Wilson, 29, of Allentown, was sentenced by Judge Christina Hale to 15 days to 23 months in Schuylkill County Prison on a charge of resisting arrest leveled by state police at Frackville for an incident on March 12.

He was also sentenced to 18 months of probation on a charge of evading arrest, and 30 days of probation on a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Wilson must also pay the costs of prosecution and another $250,

Justin Karley, 25, of Bowmanstown, was sentenced by Judge Frederick Hobbs to 12 months of probation on a charge of harassment made by Tamaqua police for an incident on March 20.

He must also pay the costs of prosecution, plus $100 and another $65 monthly supervision fee. He must also serve 10 hours of community service.

Julika Corujo Colon, 26, of Hazleton, was sentenced by Judge Frederick Hobbs to pay a $100 fine on each of three harassment charges filed by Tamaqua police for an incident on Feb. 27.

He must also pay court costs, plus another $100.

Stanley James Bonomo, 56, of Kulpmont, was sentenced by Judge Frederick Hobbs to 12 months of probation on a charge of harassment made by Tamaqua police for an incident on Sept. 13, 2024.

He must also pay the costs of prosecution, plus another $100 and a $65 monthly supervision fee.

Matthew Aremntrout, 42, of Orwigsburg, was sentenced by Judge Frederick Hobbs to 17 months to 66 months on four charges brought by Tamaqua police.

He was sentenced to 6-24 months on a charge of stalking, 5-18 months on a charge of simple assault, 4-12 months for fleeing or attempting to elude, and 2 to 12 months on a charge of terroristic threats.

On each charge, he must also pay the costs of prosecution, plus another $500.

Noah Russell, 27, of Tamaqua, was sentenced by Judge Christina Hale to 1 to 12 months in county prison on a charge of defiant trespass made by Pottsville police.

Dakota Paisley, 28, of Tamaqua, was sentenced by Judge Christina Hale to 60 days to 23 months in county prison on a charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Paisley must also pay a $1,000 fine, plus another $551.

Michael Bleashka, 51, of Summit Hill, was sentenced by Judge William Burke to 2 to 12 months in county prison on a charge of criminal trespass. He will also have to pay $400.
