Engine Company No. 2, Lehighton, conducted its “Almost Anything Goes” competition in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week.

More than 500 members of the Lehighton Area Boy Scout and Girl Scout units took part in the daylong program.

Finalists in the Miss EC2 competition included Karen Haldeman of Lehighton R.4, Sandra White, 347 North Third Street, Lehighton, Donna Hauserman, 300 South Seventh Street, Lehighton, Coleen Knappenberger of Lehighton R.5 and Donna Rabuck of Palmerton R.1, all students at Lehighton Area High School.
