The Rev. Frederick A. Winkler, principal of Marian High School, proposed organization of a booster club for the new diocesan school in Hometown under the suggested name of Men of Marian.

The three-point purpose of the organization of the men’s group is to promote and develop the school’s athletic program; to enhance educational opportunities of Marian graduates through grants at the college and university levels; and to further the spiritual aims of the individual members through religious activities and a Communion breakfast to be held annually.

Father Winkler has invited all men from the parishes that support Marian to become members of the proposed organization.
