Northwestern girls soccer coach Jordan Smith celebrated his 100th career win on a day in which the Tigers also secured wins in boys soccer and volleyball action.
Elsewhere, the Jim Thorpe boys soccer team also scored a victory.

Northwestern secured an overtime win against Moravian Academy in Colonial League action.
Cole Mertz and Caelan Stangil both scored for the Tigers – who have now won 11 in a row – while Logan Mesics recorded an assist.

Behind a pair of goals from Hayden Meckes, Jim Thorpe defeated Wilson 3-1 in a Colonial League match.
Meckes scored once in each half, finishing a first-half goal off an assist from Blaze Flyzik, before adding his second from Maddox Day. Day also tallied a goal in the second half, with Devon Frantz providing the helper.
Keeper Liam Off recorded 13 saves for the Olympians, while Walsh made six stops for Wilson.

Tanner Kolb scored five goals to help Pine Grove secure a 10-0 Schuylkill League win over Marian in the completion of a suspended game from Tuesday.
Terrin Witmer also scored twice for the Cardinals, who led 6-0 after the first half.
Damien Gall made 15 saves for the Colts.

Blue Mountain
Tamaqua topped Pine Grove, but fell to Blue Mountain in a Schuylkill League tri-meet. The Raiders posted an 18-37 girls win, and a 15-40 boys win over Pine Grove, while dropping 21-34 and 22-38 decisions to Blue Mountain. Blue Mountain’s Vanessa Frasnelli and Francesco Carr took top honors in the girls and boys races, respectively.
Tamaqua was paced in the girls race by Shaylee Gormley, who placed second in 22:52. Ava Jones (6th, 24:32), Mollie Walker (7th, 24:41), Cali Frantz (10th, 25:03), and Millie Black (15th, 26:42) also had solid runs for the Raiders.
On the boys side, Aidan Elston turned in a strong second place (17:55), while Parker Steencken was fourth in 18:41. Other top-15 Raiders were Memphis Kline (9th, 19:52), Luis Sanchez (11th, 21:01), Kevin Lawfer (13th, 21:59) and William Coombe (15th, 23:16).

Sophia Schaffer netted two goals to help Northwestern remain unbeaten with a 4-1 win over Moravian Academy in Colonial League play.
Tigers’ head coach Jordan Smith celebrated his 100th career victory.
Moravian’s goal was only the second allowed by the Tigers, as they have outscored their opponents, 67-2.

Pleasant Vy.-Northampton
Northampton broke a scoreless deadlock with a goal in the final 30 seconds of regulation to secure a 1-0 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference girls soccer victory over Pleasant Valley.
The Bears had several opportunities throughout the match, but were unable to convert in the final third. Goalkeeper Sadie Rizzo kept Pleasant Valley in it with a strong performance, recording 17 saves — including several leaping stops on dangerous chances.
Northampton held a 14-4 edge in shots, and a 5-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Schroyer struck twice in the first half to give the Red Raiders a 2-0 advantage at the break before adding her third goal in the second half to complete the hat trick.
Weatherly goalkeeper Kayla Kennelly kept the Wreckers within reach, finishing with 16 saves — 10 in the first half and six more in the second. Lourdes finished with seven total saves in goal.

Pen Argyl turned back a Palmerton rally to secure a 3-2 win in Colonial League action.
Sadie Gair had 28 assists for the Bombers, who rallied from an 0-2 deficit to push the match to five sets. Hailey Barry (15 kills, five blocks) and Morgan Wayda (10 digs) also keyed the Palmerton rally.

Tournament
Moravian Academy swept all three singles and both doubles brackets to capture the Colonial League Girls Tennis Tournament championship.
Jim Thorpe earned a pair of victories in the event. At No. 1 singles, Keira Reese, the fourth seed, defeated Luca Wilson of Palisades 8-4 in the quarterfinals to reach the semifinals. Reese went on to play for third place after falling to eventual champion and No. 1 Vicky Guo of Moravian Academy in the semis. In the third-place match, Reese battled No. 3 seed Viktoria Vossler of Notre Dame Green Pond, falling 8-5.
At No. 3 singles, Anjali Chiulli recorded a 6-2 pigtail victory over Wilson’s Jaylynn Lopez, before bowing out against top-seeded AnneMarie Andres of Moravian in the quarterfinals.
The Olympians also had Noelanie Sepulvada (No. 2 singles), along with doubles teams Lila Dejessa/Ella Ramey and Hannah Wirth/Maty Burzinski, compete in their respective brackets
