Raymond A. Baldwin, who has 20 years of experience in hospital administration, was named administrator of the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, during a meeting of the board of directors last evening.
Baldwin, 53, was one of 20 applicants interviewed by the board as the successor to Gerald A. Cole, who resigned in January as administrator of the hospital, where he had served for the past three years before leaving to manage a large motel and recreational project in Florida in which he has a financial interest.
Baldwin is currently serving as manager of the Beaver Valley General Hospital, New Brighton, where he was employed since 1948, Previously he served as administrator of the Beebe Hospital, Lewis, Delaware, for 11 years, and the Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Maryland, for three years.
