September 22, 1951 — A big game from Howard “Hucka” Miller allows Summit Hill to roll to a 33-6 victory over visiting Lehighton. Miller carries 23 times and picks up 199 rushing yards, reaching the end zone four times. Miller picks up gains of 28 and 11 yards during an opening march, which ends with his 3-yard touchdown run. The winners extend their lead with two TDs in the second frame, one on a Miller 1-yard plunge and the other on a 20-yard pass from Francis Macalush to Jack Eichoff. Miller tallies two more times in the second half. Runs of 27 and 13 yards lead to a 19-yard trek to the end zone, while his final score comes on another 1-yard dive.
