Carbon County Area Agency on Aging PA MEDI program is holding its annual Medicare open enrollment sessions.

Sessions are held at the following locations. To schedule an appointment, call the agency at 1-800-441-1315.

• Lehighton Senior Center: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 20 and 27; Nov. 3, 10, 17 and 24; and Dec. 1. (243 S. Eighth St.)

• Weatherly Senior Center: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 14 and 21; and Nov. 25. (335 Third St.)

• Panther Valley Public Library: 9 a.m.-noon. Oct. 15, 17, 22, 24 and 29; Nov. 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 and 28; and Dec. 3 and 5. (117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford.)

• Jim Thorpe/Penn Kidder Senior Center: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 15 and 22; Nov. 5 and 19 and Dec. 3. (995 State Route 903, Jim Thorpe.)

• Palmerton Library: 10:15 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Oct. 16, 23 and 30; Nov. 6, 13 and 20; and Dec. 4. (402 Delaware Ave.)

Medicare annual enrollment will be open Oct. 15 through Dec. 7.

The PA Medicare Education and Decision Insight program is a free health insurance counseling program designed to help older Pennsylvanians with understanding and making changes to Medicare health plans.
