The southbound lanes of Route 61 are closed indefinitely due to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection with Route 443. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the intersection with one of the vehicles entering the southbound berm, snapping off a traffic light post. The impact brought the pole and traffic lights down onto the roadway.
