‘Christman Team Cares Fund’ presents grants, student award
At its annual Summer Splash Customer Appreciation Party, the Jim Christman Team — Keller Williams Real Estate presented grants to three local nonprofit organizations and a student award to a Palmerton area recent graduate.
The funding was made possible through the Christman Team Cares Fund, a donor-advised fund established at the Carbon County Community Foundation by Jim and Tiffani Christman.
This year’s grant recipients were selected in part by a public poll hosted on the Jim Christman Team’s
Facebook page, where community members were invited to nominate and then vote for their favorite nonprofits. The final grants awarded were:
• Hardship Heroes — $1,000;
• Raising the House — $750;
• Dylan & Gavin’s Rainbow — $500.
In addition, Bella Catania, a 2025 Palmerton High School graduate, was presented with the ‘Keys To Your Future Award’, a $500 merit given to a student who demonstrates community involvement and pride in their hometown. The award is designed to support graduates as they take their next steps, whether that means continuing their education or entering the workforce.
This is the third year the Christman Team Cares Fund has provided charitable support to local organizations and youth.
