Robyn Plesniarski of Andreas, a 19-year-old Northampton Community College student, walked off with the 1992 Miss Carbon County title and over $700 worth of cash prizes and gifts during the annual pageant held at Panther Valley High School.

A daughter of Daniel and Rosemary Plesniarski, she was crowned by 1991 Miss Carbon County Shari Kenlin of Nesquehoning.

Plesniarski wowed the audience with an electrifying jazz dance routine to “Advance Dance,” a medley of contemporary rock tunes.

Diane Marie Gandy, 16, of Lehighton, was the first runner-up. She is a daughter of Mark and Josephine McCool of Lehighton.

The second runner-up was Holly Mary Fogarty, daughter of Ronald and Denise Fogarty of Albrightsville.
