Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, located at 222 North St., Lehighton, is hosting the Lumber River Quartet at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

Lumber River is a group of men who in 1985 were called by God to share the message of Jesus Christ through the powerful medium of music.

The group’s southern gospel style, upbeat performances and humor have been encouraging and a blessing to people all across the United States and Canada.

The service will be followed by a luncheon. Everyone is invited.
