Lower Towamensing Township supervisors took the following action on Tuesday:

• Awarded a bid in the amount of $23,364 to Guidemark for line painting work.

• Based on the recommendation of the township’s planning commission, denied a request by Earl Paules for a waiver of land development for the proposed 125-foot by 60-foot addition to an existing nonresidential building at 1145 Little Gap Road due to the need to review the site and proposed addition for compliance with stormwater management, isolation distances, parking/loading and other township ordinance requirements.

• Granted a deferral of review to Towamensing Township for the Noah Schaffer minor subdivision plan on the east side of Wintergreen Road and south side of Hill Road, conditioned on the applicant providing the plan to the township as a minor subdivision plan submission with the required application fees for review by the township professionals to ensure all general information shown on the plan is accurate and in accordance with township ordinances. The action was based on the recommendation of the township’s planning commission.

• Agreed to work on amendments to the township’s alarm ordinance.

• Agreed to advertise for special planning commission meetings at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month in September, October, November, and December.
