ON THIS DATE JULY 17, 1965

Eighty-eight pints of blood were donated during a bloodmobile visit to Summit Hill.

Doctors James Farr, Dennis Bonner and William Bonner served as attending physicians for the event, which was coordinated by Mrs. Edward L. Snyder. She was assisted by Mrs. Charles Llewellyn, Mrs. George Tarsavage, Mrs. Jennie Furst and Mrs. Dorothy Black.

Donors Clem McLaughlin and Carlo Collevechio were awarded three-gallon and two-gallon pins, respectively, while Wesley Hiles, Edward Kruczek and Al Benninger received one-gallon pins.

The bloodmobile was sponsored by St. Joseph Catholic Church. John Markey was chairman of the committee.
