Lansford woman killed in Lehigh crash identified

The Lansford woman killed Monday morning in a crash on Route 309 in Lynn Township has been identified by Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio.

He said that Kassandra F. Milkewicz, 36, died just after 1 a.m. Monday at the scene of the three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Mountain Road and Route 309 in the township.

Following an autopsy performed Tuesday at the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensic Center, Buglio said the manner of death was accidental and the cause was multiple blunt force trauma due to the collision.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks investigated the crash that happened Monday just after midnight along Route 309 at Mountain Road/Mosserville Road in Lynn Township.

Buglio said the woman was one of the drivers of three vehicles that were involved in the crash, which were two cars and a tractor-trailer.

Upon investigation, troopers determined a 2005 Honda Civic, operated by 20-year-old man from Bethlehem was driving east on Mosserville Road, while a 2020 Hyundai Tucson, operated by a Milkewicz, was driving north on Route 309 and a 2020 Freightliner SD 122, operated by a 53-year-old man from New Ringgold was traveling south on Route 309, when the collision occurred.

In addition to state police, assisting in the investigation include Troop M Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialist, Troop M Forensic Services Unit, Lehigh County District Attorneys Office, Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, PennDOT, Cetronia Ambulance and New Tripoli Fire Company.

The case remains under investigation.
