The United States Postal Service is planning a postage rate increase on Monday, with the price of a First-Class Mail Forever Stamp increasing from 73 cents to 78 cents.

The 5 cent increase is part of a broader set of price adjustments for mailing services.

Domestic postcards will increase from 56 cents to 62 cents.

First-Class Flats (Large Envelopes) will increase by 11 cents.
