Pa. having 9-1-1 issues; where to call in an emergency

Pennsylvania is experiencing a statewide intermittent 911 outage.

People experiencing issues contacting 911 are asked to contact their local 911 Center on their non-emergency lines.

Check your counties’ social media and website for more information.

In Monroe County If you are having trouble reaching 9-1-1, please immediately call 570-992-9911. This number will connect you directly to the Monroe County Control Center and ensure emergency services can be dispatched without delay.

Residents are urged to only use this alternative number if they are unable to reach 9-1-1 through the usual method.

Teams are actively working to resolve the issue and restore full 9-1-1 service functionality as quickly as possible.
