Saylorsburg man sentenced for drug trafficking

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Robert Stull, 46, of Saylorsburg, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison and five years of supervised release.

United States District Judge Joseph F. Saporito Jr. sentenced Stull for one count of possession with intent to distribute 500 grams and more of methamphetamine.

According to Acting U.S. Attorney John Gurganus, Stull previously pleaded guilty to possessing with the intent to distribute over 500 grams of a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine.

Stull admitted to possessing over 1 kilogram of cocaine, several pounds of marijuana, drug packaging materials, over $22,000 in cash, and several firearms, that were also found in his home during the execution of a search warrant by members of the Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, Office of the Pennsylvania Attorney General, as well as other investigators.

The matter was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Office of the Attorney General of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.

Assistant U.S. Attorney James Buchanan prosecuted the case.
