The Scholarship Foundation, a national nonprofit scholarship service organization with extensive experience in the design and management of scholarship programs, has announced an Andreas woman has been named the winner of the Ronald E. Smallwood Scholarship.
Kylie Skodacek, daughter of Paul and Tina Skodacek, a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a nursing student at DeSales University, has been named the scholarship winner.
The Smallwood scholarship is sponsored by the National Electrical Contractors Association, Penn-Del-Jersey Chapter. NECA represents, promotes and enhances the management interests of the entire technical contracting industry, and its efforts benefit all branches of the industry, including skilled electricians, linemen, installers and technicians, as well as the customers it serves.
Skodacek’s activities include cheerleading and participation in the Student Nurses Association and the Association for Women Science.
