The Carbon County Commissioners approved or acknowledged the following personnel items last week.

• Prison board appointments: Zachery R. Demeny of Brodheadsville, corrections officer, effective June 30; and Sean S. Milone of Tresckow, corrections officer, effective July 7.

• Resignation: Tracy M. Stewart of Lehighton, corrections officer, effective June 23.

• Hires: Monica Ruiz Martinez of Nesquehoning and Cody Sheldon of Jim Thorpe, par-time parking meter attendants, both effective July 9; and Elizabeth L. Snyder, assistant chief assessor - Homestead, Tax Assessment, effective July 14.

• Date of hire correction: Thomas P. Sundmaker of Kunkletown, assistant public defender, effective July 3.

• Court resignation: Kaitlyn D. Harris of Nesquehoning, domestic relations specialist II, effective July 11.

• Change of status: Edyta Solon of Jim Thorpe, from secretary I to secretary II, district judge - Lansford, effective June 30.
