Letter to the editor: Slatington’s True Colors

It’s about time the Borough is investigated for four years of backlog of accounting records.

I just want to thank the Lehigh County District Attorney for pursuing my complaint concerning this matter. I turned the borough in months ago. The borough should hold the previous borough manager accountable.

The Dancing of the Stars at Walnut Street keeps showing its true colors, as all financial records should be up to date at all times for my review or any taxpayer.

Putting flags on poles with seven different colors of light standards is like putting lipstick on a pig but is still is a pig.

Clean up the town first! The borough claims a Historical District, I’ll call it hysterical.

The street sweeper is broken over a year, if it can’t be repaired, rent one! Better yet, have the crew sweep the streets by hand.

I served on council and I know how they function. I’m running for council and I cannot spell Yes!

I can’t believe the borough crew supervisor is in charge of certain funds. Totally Incompetent. 21% increase in taxes, but nothing gets done.

In order for my campaign to flourish, I made Mickey Mouse my manager to fit in with this Magic Kingdom Theme Park. The ticket takers (School Board) just raised the entrance fee with tax increase into this fantasy park!
