A Lehigh County man had died following injuries suffered in a crash in Nesquehoning Monday morning.
The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensics Center said the man, Rajnesh Prasad, 64, of Whitehall Township, was pronounced dead at 4:17 p.m. at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Bethlehem.
The crash occurred at 10:55 a.m. near the State Game Land shooting range along Route 93.
Prasad was the operator of a motor vehicle that was on the roadway and struck a tree stump.
The cause of death is blunt force injuries due to motor vehicle collision.
The manner of death is accidental.
In addition to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, the Nesquehoning Police Department is also investigating.
Terry Ahner
