The Slatington Historical Society will hold a Northern Lehigh America250 meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Vigilant Fire Company, 110 S. Walnut St., Slatington.

A celebration of America’s 250 years will be discussed.

Robert Stettner, head of the historical society, said the group is hoping to get individuals and civic organizations involved.

Slatington is planning the event to take part from May 15-17, 2026.
