The Rev. Ralph K. Todd last night was installed as pastor of Christ United Church of Christ, Jim Thorpe, at a ceremony attended by more than 160 people.

The Rev. William Longsdorf, former pastor of the UCC church in Palmerton, and president of the East Pennsylvania Synod, was in charge of the installation.

Rev. Todd was elected pastor on June 1. Prior to accepting the call to the county seat he was the pastor of the Bethel United Church of Christ in Lebanon.

N.M. Rahn, honorary president of the congregation, presented the new pastor for installation during the service, which was conducted by the Rev. George Bickel, pastor of Jacob’s United Church of Christ, Weissport.
