Carbon County’s Open Space Grant Program is holding a Northwest Regional Multi-Municipal Open Space Preservation workshop.

The workshop will take place at 6 p.m. today in the Weatherly borough building. It aims to educate the municipal leaders in the Northwest Region of Banks, Beaver Meadows, Lausanne, Lehigh, Weatherly, Packer and Nesquehoning on general land conservation information, the open space grant program and application process, and the connection between land preservation and local planning.

The workshop, while aimed at municipal officials, is open to the public.
