Route 443 in East Brunswick Township was closed Monday afternoon due to a tractor trailer crash. The incident occurred just before 1 p.m. as the operator of the rig lost control on a wet roadway striking an embankment. The driver was evaluated by members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance.. West Penn and New Ringgold fire police maintained traffic control at the scene shutting down the roadway. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
