The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce will launch a new promotion during Saturday’s Tamaqua Community Day at the Owl Creek Reservoir.

Those who purchase a cup through the Chamber’s Blue Cup Special can use it for beverages at the event. And when the event is over, they can take their cup to participating businesses to “unlock” a deal or perk chosen by that business. The businesses set their own specials and can change it as often as they like.

Participating businesses include Tamaqua Station Restaurant, Gimbel’s, Revere Brewery, Sister’s Cantina, Coal Cats Café, Hope and Coffee and Heisler’s.

The cups may also be purchased from Revere Brewery and the station gift shop.
